 After our candidate has been made a job offer they must complete a series of validated assessments called DISC.  MJ Direct Placement Services has partnered with TTI Success Insights (TTI SI). TTI SI is the only provider of DISC assessments in the marketplace that generates 384 unique reports, based on both the high and low scores revealed in each individual’s two DISC graphs (natural style graph and adapted style graph). There are 5 dimensions of a superior performer that are measured in our research based assessments. These dimensions are:

  • Emotional Intelligence

What is DISC? 

DISC is a non-judgmental tool used for discussion of people's behavioral differences. Everyone is different and is motivated by different things. DISC is used primarily for a coaching tool with your team. The DISC model provides a common language that people can use to better understand themselves and to adapt their behaviors with others. 

DISC profiles help you and your team: 

- Increase your self-knowledge: how you respond to conflict, what motivates you, what causes you stress and how you solve problems

- Improve working relationships by recognizing the communication needs of team members. 

- Facilitate better teamwork and teach productive conflict

- Manage more effectively by understanding the dispositions and priorities of employees and team members. 

 

WHAT DOES DISC STAND FOR? WHAT DO THE LETTERS MEAN? 

D- Dominance: Person places emphasis on accomplishing results, the bottom line, confidence. Sees the big picture, can be blunt, accepts challenges, gets straight to the point. 

I- Influence: Person places emphasis on influencing or persuading others, openness, relationships. Shows enthusiasm, is optimistic, likes to collaborate, dislikes being ignored. 

S- Steadiness: Person places emphasis on cooperation, sincerity, dependability. Doesn't like to be rushed, calm manner, calm approach, supportive actions. 

C- Conscientiousness: Person places emphasis on quality and accuracy, expertise, competency. Enjoys independence, objective reasoning, wants the details, fears being wrong.
